Matrix reimprinting
This approach builds on EFT tapping as a simple set-up for entering a memory scene (also called the Matrix) where past and present and future can be formatted in your favour.
It is a visual approach where you use your imagination to revisit a memory scene. But this time you are in charge of what happens, so you can reclaim the narrative to get what you needed at the time but didn’t receive. You do this by reconnecting with your past self who suffered in that memory.
The purpose of re-imagining the memory scene is precisely so that you can revise what happened - so that your past self is released from the pain trapped in that memory. This happens by validating the version of you who lived through that scene. But this time you make a new deal based on the learning and life experience that you’ve gathered since then.
The current version of you knows what happens next and the impact of those events in the past. By combining the past and the present, you can reformat your approach to life. You can also make a new deal for the future. Some people call this inner child work. Others call it memory rescripting. Either way, clients say that it’s a powerful and deep way to overcome trauma from the past. Difficult scenes lose their sting.
Matrix in this context is drawn from quantum theory in physics, where past and present and future co-exist at a higher level. This creates potential for new energy and new meaning-making.
It can be the kind of thing you benefit from experiencing yourself before making judgement. The best thing is that the scenes and rescripting come from within you the client. So you are in charge of what happens in the Matrix Reimprinting memory that’s being tackled.
Matrix Reimprinting works one memory at a time. Although often the results from each rescripted memory can be stacked up in combination for extra power.
